Below are some cases where passengers were severely punished for causing chaos and hitting flight attendants.

Hit the flight attendant on the shoulder

In early September 2017, James August flew from New Jersey to Hawaii (USA) to travel with his family and use the services of Hawaiian Airlines.

It is no longer rare in the world for passengers to get drunk and fight with flight attendants on flights.

In February 2018, the court forced James to pay a fine of nearly 100,000 USD for his actions.

Slapping the flight attendant

The incident happened on a Cebu Pacific flight from Manila to Davao (Philippines) in 2016. The crew asked a female passenger to put her luggage in the overhead compartment above the seat.

According to Philippine law, this passenger faces the maximum sentence for assaulting a flight attendant which is 3 years in prison and a fine of 10,000 USD.

The image of the flight attendant being slapped after being posted online received a lot of public sympathy.

Scolding the flight attendant

The incident happened in 2015 during a flight from Egypt to England.

According to Mirror, Zade requested a Muslim menu.

On the flight, Zade repeatedly asked for Muslim meals and even though the flight attendant apologized, he continued to curse them.

Birmingham prosecutor Liz Rider said Zade’s actions were irresponsible, caused difficulties for flight attendants and upset fellow passengers.

Throw boiling water on the flight attendant

In December 2014, a group of four Chinese tourists threw noodles and boiling water at a Thai flight attendant and threatened to bomb the plane.

These passengers had to pay 50,000 baht (more than 35 million VND) to the flight attendant.

Passengers scolded flight attendants

Passengers behave rudely on the flight.
