When does Dalat Flower Festival 2015 take place?

As expected, the 6th Dalat Flower Festival – 2015 with the theme `Da Lat – colorful flowers` will take place in 5 days, from December 29, 2015 to January 2, 2016.

What’s special about the event?

As one of the biggest festivals of Lam Dong province attracting many domestic and foreign tourists, Dalat Flower Festival is always invested very elaborately and thoroughly.

Accordingly, the event is expected to include 8 main programs:

The flower space was held around Xuan Huong Lake on December 30, 2015 – January 3, 2016 with many flower miniatures and competitions with high prizes.

Small landscapes are decorated on the banks of Xuan Huong Lake.

Display and exhibition of flowers and ornamental plants in Dalat 2015 at Dalat city flower garden, lasting from December 30, 2015 to January 3, 2016.

The opening ceremony of Dalat Flower Festival was held at 8:00 p.m., December 30, 2015 at Lam Vien square, including: Opening program, special art programs and Dalat Flower Carnaval parade.

Dalat Flower Carnaval is an exciting activity taking place from December 30, 2015 to January 3, 2016.

How to get to Da Lat?

Plane: There are currently direct flights from Hanoi, Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City to Lien Khuong airport (Da Lat) by Vietnam Airlines and Vietjetair.

Note: From Lien Khuong airport, you can catch an intermodal bus to Da Lat (stop at the Aviation hotel on Pasteur street near Xuan Huong Lake) for 50,000 VND;

Passenger cars: Phuong Trang or Thanh Buoi buses have many trips to and from the Saigon – Da Lat route, about 220,000 – 240,000 VND/way ticket.

Where to rest?

Hotels in the Xuan Huong Lake area, Da Lat market, etc. are often more expensive than motels and hotels far from the center.
